The purpose of this course is to provide a thorough and comprehensive visual overview of typical problems concerning residential landscaping and property drainage. Upon completion of this course the you will have an extensive background with regard to common issues and defects such as driveways, walkways, patios, fences, retaining walls, decks, porches, trees, perimeter grading, and lot drainage. You will also have an enriched knowledge with respect to the impact that substandard workmanship has on a property.

This has to be one of the best examples of deck overloading there is. The major deck sag as seen at the far end is from the weight of a hot-tub sitting on the deck. At the time the photo was taken, the hot-tub was only partially filled with water and obviously didn't have any occupant load. It is also obvious that the deck and stairs are missing the required handrail and guard. |
At the end of this course is a multiple choice test. When a minimum passing grade of 75% has been obtained, a Certificate of Completion will be forwarded by email.
